Goals: Our organisation is a DRK blood service. We supply hospitals and resident doctors in the catchment area with medicinal products from human blood and provide transfusion-related laboratory services.
The DRK blood donation center NSTOB
-is an independent non-profit company with the legal form of a gGmbH.
-does not sell the donated blood, but the processed blood preparations using professional staff and complex technology, but only to the amount of the costs that were previously incurred - for example for the application and organization of the blood donation appointments, for transport, laboratory tests and the further processing as well as production, storage and delivery of preparations.
-guarantees a comprehensive and safe supply of blood products in Lower Saxony, Bremen, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - even in the event of a disaster.
