Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: EU initiatives mainly in the fields of health, financial services, energy, environment, transport, digital, employment and social affairs, trade and external relations. We are focused exclusively on reporting legislative developments to our clients. In this respect, we follow all pieces of legisation. Initiaitves that we are currently following include the Green Deal, Fit for 55, anti-money laundering proposals, the Data Act, AI and Euro 7, amongst others.
Communication Activities: Dods organises events with its partners on issues related to European legislative developments. These events are often organised with Brussels stakeholders, such as trade associations and companies, to discuss and reflect upon EU policies. Recent examples have included the annual event for The Association of European Producers of steel for packaging to discuss the New Circular Economy Action Plan and for EHPM (European Federation of Associations of Health Product Manufacturers) to discuss the Food Supplement Directive. These events usually have MEPs and stakeholders discuss the legislation.
We also advise clients on legislative devleopments and assist them with communications.
