Mission & Interests

Goals: Deutsches Aktieninstitut commits itself to strong capital markets for the benefit of ensuring sound corporate finance-conditions in order to enable companies to substantially contribute to societal wealth. Our member-companies represent over 85 percent of the market-capitalization of German listed companies. We represent our member-companies in dialogue with policy makers and advocate their positions in legislative proceedings on the national and European level. As a think-tank, we deliver both facts for masterminds and impulses for capital markets-policy since companies, investors and the society alike benefit from strong capital markets. Being committed to good corporate governance as precondition for powerful and prospering capital markets, Deutsches Aktieninstitut provides the secretariat of the German Corporate Governance code.
