Goals: DEMO SA Pharmaceutical is a Greek company established in 1965 and is active in the development, production and sales of pharmaceutical products. DEMO specializes in injectable pharmaceutical products, with a leading presence in the Greek market of injectable hospital products, and a significant presence internationally in over 85 countries. The company exports 84% of its annual production and is rapidly expanding its range of products to international markets. Today the company employs over 1000 people. DEMO has rolled out a 356-million-euro investment plan for the next 7 years that will contribute to the Greek economy by €1,3billion to the national GDP, and create 600 new direct jobs.

Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: DEMO S.A. Pharmaceutical Industry is interesting in following all health policy developments that have an impact on the pharmaceutical industry. Specifically some policy files that we currently follow are the Pharmaceutical Strategy of the EU including the review of the General Pharmaceutical legislation
Communication Activities: DEMO SA Pharmaceutical Industry up to 2024 has not taken part in any European event held in Brussels and organized by the European Institutions. Our intention is to attend such future events and thus for the purpose of having access to the EU institutions, in line with the rules of the Transparency Register we are conducting this application. At national level, DEMO SA Pharmaceutical Industry is a member of the Panhellenic Union of Pharmaceutical Industry and together with the association we attend local events and conferences in the healthcare field. Mr Dimitrios Demos, the CEO of DEMO SA Pharmaceutical Industry speaks on public forums on behalf of the company on matters affecting pharmaceutical policy at national and European level. In light of the upcoming General Pharmaceutical legislation, DEMO SA Pharmaceutical Industry aims to be an active stakeholder providing our knowledge of impact and feedback on possible future policy changes that may affect the Greek pharmaceutical manufacturing footprint. Up to this day, we have not taken any further communication activities directly related to European legislative files.
