Mission & Interests
Goals: Dublin City University (DCU) has established the Brexit Institute with the aim to explore how Brexit impacts on government, business and society at large. The Brexit Research & Policy Institute operates as a hub and a magnet for the analysis of Brexit, both from an academic and a policy perspective. Through the organization of regular events the Brexit Institute provides a leading platform to document and debate developments in the relations between the UK and the EU.

Lead Coordinator of the BRIDGE (Brexit Research and Investigation into Differentiated Governance in Europe) Network, a three-year (2019-2022) Jean Monnet Network funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme. BRIDGE is a multi-disciplinary academic network investigating current European Union crises and assessing the European Union’s governance responses.
Lead Coordinator of the REBUILD (Recovery of Europe, Budget of the Union: Integration, Law & Democracy) Project, a three-year (2022-2025) Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ programme. REBUILD is a multi-disciplinary academic centre of research, aiming to examine in depth the innovative €750bn Next Generation EU (NGEU) Recovery Fund.
