Goals: As a leading advocate for the plant science industry, CropLife International champions innovative technologies that help farmers grow more food on less land sustainably. We represent six of the world’s leading agricultural R&D companies by protecting intellectual property to foster a culture of innovation; advocating for trade and regulatory policies that facilitate access to new technologies; and ensuring the responsible and effective use of plant science innovations.
The challenge is in figuring out how to feed our growing population while protecting the planet to ensure a sustainable future for all. We need to reduce barriers to innovation so we can chart a path toward greater sustainability in agriculture and our global food systems.
