Is Member Of: The activities of the Association are divided into two parts – promoting electric mobility with our partners and actively negotiating rights and benefits with the Croatian Government. Through those actions, we established the largest community for electromobility and renewable energy sources in Croatia.
As we all know, electric vehicles still have bigger prices than conventional vehicles and taking that Croatians have weaker purchasing power due to lower incomes than the rest of the European Union, we had to negotiate lower prices with the car dealers and negotiate better conditions for incentives when buying new electric vehicles.
More electric vehicles demand bigger and better charger infrastructure so we gathered all representatives for charging stations in Croatia and started preparing project for installation of 100.000 charging points through all Croatia. That many chargers should be enough for 95% of the needs of Croatian drivers in the next five years.
Many drivers are still unaware of the use of electric vehicles in Croatia so we often witness that they park on public charging stations. In cooperation with the Government, we made a bill to take parked vehicles out of charging stations and through our social media, we're trying to educate drivers that they shouldn't park there.
However, it's not all about electric vehicles. In cooperation with our partners, we are promoting smart-city solutions like using solar plants, converting city lights to LED and to increase the use of car-sharing, e-scooter and bicycle rental to reduce traffic jams in our biggest cities.
In conclusion, the Association is promoting and educating Croatian people to drive zero-emission vehicles and to use renewable energy sources. We gathered many essential factors like car makers, representatives for charging stations, representatives for 'smart-city' solutions, service providers for car-sharing and e-scooter rental and all of that with one main goal – to make Croatia cleaner place to live and to have better future.
