Info Members: CIC works by correcting past and existing legislation to ensure a correct working environment for its members; CIC manages two national certification schemes, one for compost produced by its memerbs, and one for the certification of compostble packaging. CIC also acts as a consultant to compost plants for technical matters. CIC also acts as a consultant to regional and provincial authorities to promote the sector within local waste plans. CIC organises meetings and events, provides members with reports and information, participate in ministerial working groups such as that on the use of fertilisers.
