Main EU Legislative Proposals: - European Social Economy Action Plan2 (SEAP) - Proposal for a Council Recommendation on developing social economy framework conditions - Transition Pathway for the Proximity and Social Economy

Communication Activities: (1) to assist the Commission in relation to the implementation of the measures envisaged in the Commission’s Communication: ‘Building an economy that works for people: an action plan for the social economy’; (2) to advise the Commission on how to best implement policy measures in the field of industrial policy for social economy, in particular the development of the Transition Pathway for the ‘Proximity and Social Economy’ industrial ecosystem; (3) to assist the Commission by providing advice and expertise on the follow-up to the implementation of the Council recommendation on developing social economy framework conditions in Member States; (4) to assist the Commission in the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives in the field of social economy and social enterprise; (5) to reflect on how to best incorporate social economy and social enterprise issues in Commission policies and funding; (6) to bring about an exchange of experience and good practice in the field of social economy and social enterprise and contribute to awareness-raising.
