Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: CTDT as the Register is targeting participation in the EU- Africa strategy public hearing to be held on the 28 November, 2023, convened by the Committee on Development from 9.30-11.30. The overall aim of the hearing is to discuss the current status of EU-Africa strategy in the evolving political landscape. CTDT within the strategy framing is interested in the food, seed and climate change nexus intersecting with the intersectionality of gender. CTDT with the outlined aspects in this strategy framework will bring the context of the African continent and provide recommendations for food and seed systems framing in the EU-Africa strategy.
In this regard, CTDT targets the EU's development cooperation policies, especially in the field of food security and sustainable agriculture. This also touches upon the NDICI instrument and the mid-term review of the MFF.
