Info Members: Citizens' Climate Europe has over 1,000 volunteer members registered across Europe. About 12 are active within the EU and for most of them their working time is less than 10%. As the EU Green Deal enters negotiation some of our EU effort is transferring to the Member States. Because we are a volunteer citizen organisation the staff to funding ratio may not fit within the norms expected. Members pay their own travel and accommodation costs, use their own IT infrastructure and generously donate their time and effort based on their own assessment of the value of engaging directly as citizens with elected officials. There is limited funding that is used to offset some accommodation and travel costs for physical meetings in Brussels.
