Mission & Interests

Goals: The Centro per la Cooperazione Internazionale is a non-profit association engaged in the development and promotion of knowledge on issues of European affairs, international cooperation, peace, and human rights. From its base in Trentino, the CCI works to place rights, sustainability, and equality at the centre of practices and policies at local and international level. By combining online journalism, research, training, consultancy, advocacy and policy advice, it aims to act as a bridge between academia, the media, civil society, the profit sector and institutions. To achieve its mission, it operates through two interlinked departments: Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa - OBCT, a think tank on European affairs monitoring 26 countries in collaboration with over 50 correspondents in the field; Competenze per la Società Globale - CSG, a service hub dedicated to building knowledge and skills in the field of global citizenship education and development cooperation.
