Mission & Interests

Goals: Il Centro per i Diritti del Cittadino – CODICI – è una formazione sociale indipendente senza scopo di lucro che: 1. Promuove iniziative volte a rafforzare la presenza e il ruolo delle Associazioni nella dimensione europea, attraverso almeno quattro piani operativi prioritari comuni, quello della informazione, della formazione, della consultazione e delle azioni comuni, sulle politiche europee e sulla dimensione europea. 2. Colmare il fortissimo gap che caratterizza oggi la presenza dell'insieme delle Associazioni dei consumatori italiane nei confronti di una pluralità di attori pubblici, sociali e privati che esercitano ogni giorno un'influenza crescente sulle decisioni del sistema di istituzioni pubbliche;

Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: We had partecipate on the Consultation on the review of the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs - EBA, ESMA, EIOPA), Consultation on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, Consultation on "good practices" for passenger rights, DG Move and the consultancy STEER, Consultation on CO2 standards for cars, Consultation in the Farm to Fork, Strategy, develop an EU Code of Conduct for responsible business and marketing practice, Consultation on EDPB reccomendations on additional measures for data transfers, consultation on A New Consumer Agenda. As a consumer association affiliated to BEUC https://www.beuc.eu/beuc-network/members/consumatori-italiani-leuropa-cie as member of CIE www.cie-europa.com we have participated to the Citizens' Energy Forum in Dublin on 2018 and 2019, 2020, 2021 (on line) and 2022, and to the European Consumer Summit 2023 2022 2021 2020 2019 2018.

Communication Activities: From our start activities we had participated to 2 projects supported from the EU: 1. https://www.cie-europa.com/copia-di-missione 2. https://www.cie-europa.com/foodsuppads We are working hard to improve our skills in communication and publications fro EU priorities, in Italian and English. We are now working on a project supported from our Minister for the Activities on the circular economy and the green new deal www.consumaconsapevole.com

Ogni anno vengono raggruppati in assemblea per raccogliere le esperienze e le testimonianze derivanti dai territori che poi vengono utilizzati per tracciare la linea nazionale dell'associazione.
