Democratic Resilience As a core initiative of the most powerful voice in Washington on transatlantic affairs, the Center for European Policy Analysis Democratic Resilience program aims to support policymakers – in government, civil society, business, and the media, in North America and in Europe – in achieving three vital aims:1. Countering authoritarian threats to democracy.2. Responding to democratic backsliding.3. Bolstering established democracies. Transatlantic Defence and Security The Transatlantic Defense and Security program at CEPA shapes policy debates, builds communities of interest, and develops innovative policy solutions to the 21st century’s most pressing transatlantic security issues. Our goal is to ensure the United States and its closest allies can maintain their strategic edge in an increasingly contested world. We focus on strengthening Euro-Atlantic institutions, promoting US engagement in European security, and deepening transatlantic cooperation. We bring a forward-looking approach to our analysis, with insight formed across generations, backgrounds, and borders. By bringing together key stakeholders, pioneering new ideas, and publishing substantive content, we help governments, businesses, institutions, and the public understand and navigate today’s uncertain security environment. Digital Innovation Initiative CEPA’s Digital Innovation Initiative advances transatlantic alignment on technology policy by engaging key stakeholders from governments, industry, and the broad policy community.
