Goals: CEC Group was established in the early 1990s (CEC Government Relations) to serve the new international investor community in Central Europe following the collapse of communism. As democracy and free markets evolved, so new interest groups and policy processes developed, together with an emerging need for professional and transparent public affairs advice. Our clients needed the confidence that they were being served by Western-oriented and credible public affairs professionals.
As we have grown, we have relied on seeking out the best in local consultants, management and staff. Our offices now employ over 40 people across the region and we continue to grow into new markets through using tested and professional consultants and partner agencies. We combine senior management that has years of experience in the region between them, with young, dynamic, and multilingual staff to service your needs professionally and effectively.

Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: Our company would like to address the following topics: Digital Agenda in terms of copyright and digital taxation, Financial Services oriented on cashless transactions, distribution of the EU funds, FMCG with the focus on the consumer protection and related legislature. We also look into the EU energy policies, namely the energy transition, use of gas and hydrogen. Connected to the energy policies is also the issue of the Infrastructure and relevant ongoing projects. Last but not least, we look into defence and security topics.
Communication Activities: As a Prague-based consulting agency in PA, we help our clients mainly on the national level, but also on the EU level to communicate their priorities in the aforementioned areas. Among our activities belong organization of roundtables and meetings with policymakers on the EU level.
