Complementary Information: BCW Brussels takes its ETI registration responsibilities seriously. Outlined below are the details of our approach. To determine our total turnover linked to lobbying the EU institutions we: 1. Start with our total turnover for 2023 2. Deduct turnover generated by services unrelated to the EU institutions (e.g. Belgian public relations or international communications work) or which involved no contact with any officials or policy-makers of the EU institutions 3. Deduct communications work performed for the EU institutions As indicated above, we generally apply a wide interpretation of what should be considered lobbying. If we help a client to engage with the EU institutions on an issue, we generally count all our efforts as lobbying (preparation, intelligence gathering, strategic advice, designing advocacy, advertising etc.) even if some aspects of the work could be excluded from registration. Since 2013, BCW has systematically introduced new clients into the register after a contract is signed, as currently required under the guidelines. Please note that Burson Cohn & Wolfe SRL (BCW register identification number 9155503593-86 ) is also the existing legal entity for GCI Health. GCI Health ( registration ID - 685884647362-97) and its office in Brussels operates as a division of this legal entity. Activities of BCW and GCI Health are separate hence two registrations.

Info Members: Time allocated corresponds strictly to the definition set out in the transparency register guidelines for direct and indirect lobbying. In the interest of transparency, to which we are committed, where in doubt we have assumed an activity is lobbying even if an alternative interpretation is possible. All our employees are involved in activities covered by the register but not exclusively so. Hence the percentage indicated relates to lobbying (direct and indirect) and the identification of the externalisation of effort, as under the guidelines.
