Mit einer F&E-Quote (Forschung & Entwicklung) von 15 Prozent gehört die Pflanzenzüchtung zu den innovativsten Branchen in Deutschland. Rund 5.800 Beschäftigte finden in ihr einen Arbeitsplatz und legen mit ihrer Tätigkeit die Basis für eine erfolgreiche Landwirtschaft und die darauf folgenden Stufen der Wertschöpfungskette.
