Mission & Interests
Goals: Bundesverband Alternative Investments e. V. (BAI) is the cross-asset and cross-product advocacy association for the Alternative Investments (AI) industry in Germany. We advocate for better opportunities of diversification for institutional/professional investors’ portfolios with regard to AI. The main focus of BAI’s effort is to enhance the German pension and retirement planning system in the long run.
BAI perceives itself as a catalyzer between professional German investors and recognized providers of Alternative Investment products worldwide.
We are representing the interests of the industry as well as those of institutional and professional investors
in Germany in relation to politics and regulators. A broad diversification which includes Alternative Investments is
indispensable.
Currently BAI represents almost 300 (per March 2024) German and international fund managers, banks, asset managers, advisors and other service providers.
