Goals: Dissemination of knowledge in the field of pharmacoeconomics; Pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes studies; Development and implementation of programs and projects independently and in interaction with others, assisting the spread of foreign experience in the field of pharmacoeconomics; Preparation of educational materials in the field of pharmacoeconomics; Execution of scientific research in the field of pharmacoeconomics and health results; Developments in the field of methods it uses pharmacoeconomics, as well as the rules of good research practice in their application; Ensuring prosperity and notoriety of the activities of the members of the association locally, regional and international level in the field of pharmacoeconomics.

Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: As the main focus of the Association is the pharmacoeconomics, health economics, health-related outcomes and patients' access to medicines, the policies targeted are mainy related to the New HTA Regulation and other similar initiatives at European Union level. On the basis of their expertise, the members of Bulgarian Association of Pharmacoeconomics developed and presented in front of the stakeholders in Bulgaria an opinion on the implementation of the New HTA Regulation in the country. Considering the expertise in the field of HTA, the Association is preparing to submit documents for a Call for applications: Health Technology Assessment Stakeholder Network. Moreover, members of the Association are involved in Scientific projects funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology).
