Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: Our main focus is on the digital policy agenda, including the European data strategy, telecommunications, data protection, artificial intelligence, cyber security, and internet governance. We also follow wider EU policies covering the Internal Market, competition, innovation and trade. As a company head quartered in the UK and with a European-wide footprint serving businesses and governmental institutions with ICT solutions, we take a strong interest in the future EU-UK relationship. Given BT’s commitment to reduce its own and its customers’ CO2 emissions we take an active interest in the European energy and sustainability agenda. We further follow policies and activities to support digital skills.
