Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: The Chamber is concerned with customs procedures, regulatory alignment, and market access on a two-way basis post Brexit. This includes smooth trade relations between the UK and the EU, ensuring regulatory coherence, and fostering a favourable business environment for cross-border commerce. Additionally, issues such as taxation, data protection, and workforce mobility also concern our members.
Communication Activities: We often hold events to highlight areas where closer cooperation could be possible, such as the signing of a Veterinary Agreement between the EU and the UK. On the back of member inputs, we frequently publish papers on trade.
