Goals: Association "Promoting the development of cinema in Ukraine - see Ukrainian!" was founded by filmmakers and communication specialists in 2005. The activities of the Association are aimed at comprehensive support for the development of Ukrainian cinema.. Main activities:. • Initiation, organization and support of various projects and events aimed at the development and support of Ukrainian cinema (special industrial projects, festivals, conferences, prizes, educational programs, film screenings abroad, festival distribution, etc.).. • Production of film products initiated by filmmakers, participants/experts of the Association.. • Updating and communicating to a wide audience, the language of cinema, important social issues in order to consolidate the efforts of Ukrainian society to solve them.. • Popularization of Ukrainian cinema in Ukraine and abroad.

Communication Activities: On February 2024 in the European Parliament will be an event entitled «Culture vs. War. Culture as a mean of aggression and a tool of resistance. Debate on the 2nd anniversary of the Russian full-scale aggression of Ukraine» As part of the event, there will be screening of the documentary film «Culture vs war. Kostiantyn and Vlada Liberov», followed by a discussion featuring esteemed speakers. The event will be hosted and moderated by Anna Fotyga, MEP. The discussion panel will include speakers such as: • Alina Krasnanska - executive producer of the project "Culture vs. War" (Ukraine), • Prof. Andrzej Nowak - Jagiellonian University and the Polish Academy of Sciences • Prof. Jerome Sheridan - Director of American University in Brussels, Professor of International Relations • Akhtem Seitablaev – Ukrainian actor, screenwriter and film director, Crimean Tatar • Inga Levi - Ukrainian artist • Yona Tukuser - Ukrainian-Bulgarian artist Following the discussion, there will be a dedicated question and answer session. The project «Culture vs war» is created by the Association "Watch Ukrainian!" with the financial assistance of the EU, MHP-Hromada Foundation and Babylon. February-March, 2024 We are rganising the exhibition of «Culture vs War» project with the European External Action Service and Mission of Ukraine to the EU. It will be personal photo exhibitions of the heroes of the “Culture vs War” project: Serhii Mykhalchuk, a cameraman who has been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale invasion, and Konstantin and Vlada Liberov, military documentary photographers.
