    Organisation Members: El FRM goza de estatus consultivo especial ante el ECOSOC, lo que le permite enviar propuestas y participar en las conferencias del sistema de NNUU. Así mismo, la FAO le otorgó el estatus de enlace, reconocimiento oficial que le permite participar en las Conferencias de la FAO y del Comité de Seguridad Alimentaria. Por otro lado, el FRM tiene un Acuerdo de Colaboración con FAO (2023-2026), además de numerosos acuerdos para la implementación de diferentes programas tanto con FAO como con el Fondo Internacional de Desarrollo Agrario (FIDA). El FRM también ha recibido la acreditación como observador ante el UNFCCC. En cuanto a su pertenencia a redes internacionales, el FRM es miembro del GDPRD (Plataforma Global de Donantes para el Desarrollo Rural), socio de la Coalición Internacional de la Tierra (ILC), y es miembro del Comité Directivo del Foro Global sobre Investigación en Agricultura (GFAR). El FRM también es miembro del Mecanismo de la Sociedad Civil y Pueblos Indígenas, MSC, para las relaciones con el Comité de Seguridad Alimentaria Mundial de la ONU.
