Goals: ANEFA, created in 1977, represents companies from the aggregates sector in Spain. Since its constitution, ANEFA has introduced advanced professional criteria in all the processes of the aggregate production activity, opening new paths in essential matters that constitute the basis of Sustainable Development for companies and for the sector, such as: -The quality of production and product. -Environment. -Prevention of occupational hazards. -The formation. -The image of the sector. In Addition, ANEFA has among its priority objectives: -To defense legal security. -To boost the competitiveness of the aggregates production industry. -To Promote the consideration of environmental aspects in aggregate production processes. -To Promote the quality and proper use of aggregates, promoting the improvement of the applicable technical regulations and sustainable construction. -To Promote continuous improvement of the health and safety conditions of workers.

Communication Activities: Given the enormous policy output in recent years, the organisation's work has been particularly intense regarding consultations and participatory processes in relation to legislative proposals on raw materials (critical and essential), nature restoration, soil health monitoring, net zero, and many other policies, strategies or initiatives launched by the EC or the EP, on climate, health and safety, industry, product, etc.. To this end, public consultations and questionnaires have been carried out, and briefing notes and reports have been produced on these issues. Meetings have also been held with MEPs, members of the EC, and representatives of the member states, throughout 2021, 2022 and 2023. From the communication point of view, is particularly noteworthy the organisation of the VII National Congress on Aggregates held in Oviedo in May 2022 and the Mining and Minerals Hall in Seville in October 2022, in which high-level EU representatives took part in presentations and round tables on EU policies
