Goals: Uzņēmuma ASNS Ingredient mērķis ir izveidot Ziemeļu un Austrumeiropā modernāko zirņu pārstrādes rūpnīcu. Pārstrādes rezultātā no zirņiem tiks ražots zirņu proteīna izolāts, šķīstošā šķiedrviela, raugs, ekstrudēti apvalki un lopbarības proteīns. Projekta atbilstība bioekonomikas prioritārajam virzienam raksturo fakts, ka zirņu audzēšana nodrošina dabai un videi labvēlīgas priekšrocības, kā piemēram, ievērojami mazāku enerģijas patēriņu, ūdens patēriņu, CO2 absorbciju. Tauriņziežu kultūras audzēšana ir vienīgā kultūra, kas nevis atņem, bet piesaista slāpekli augsnei.
