Info Members: At ARGE, only the position of General Secretary is remunerated. The General Secretary spends approx. 50% of his working time on EU legislative proposals and policies.
All other work within ARGE (currently there are 5 Working Groups established) is carried out by approx. 90 experts (including ARGE's Board of Directors) who work for ARGE on an honorary basis. These experts are employed by ARGE's members (National Associations of Locks and Building Hardware Manufacturers) and the member companies of these National Associations. These experts do not incur any costs for ARGE.
4 of these experts spend approx 25% of their respective working time on EU legislative proposals and policies.
