Mission & Interests
Goals: Alpe Adria Green (AAG) is an international non-governmental organization for the protection of the environment and nature with the status of pubilc interest in the field of environment and nautre. Our aim is focused on protecting environment and nature and working on providing sustainable development in the field of energy, transport and self-care in the South-East Europe. Our activities are divided on:
- Environmental Law Center (free environmental legal asistance for individuals, civil initiatives and NGOs, involvement in administrative and judicial proceedings, involvement in the processes adopted by decision-makers)
- Educational outreach projects (implementation of various environmental projects financed by public tenders or donators, providing different workshops with awareness raising and non formal education focus)
- Eco patrols (monitoring of water, air and noise with environmental monitoring instruments and equipment owned by AAG).

Communication Activities: AAG implemented 17 month long project called EU Environmental Applicable Law Online Platform financed by European Parliament (end date of the project is May 2022). Project goals are raising awareness of the role and democratic values of the European Parliament and other EU institutions, promoting EU tools for EU citizens - active involvement in processes, specially on the field of environment and nature. The project is multilingual because in Slovenia live many Serbs, Croats, Bosnians and Macedonians.
