Mission & Interests
Goals: AI4People is a non-profit organization based in Brussels bringing together key stakeholders in AI from academia, industry, civil society organisations and policy makers to lay the foundations for a “Good AI Society” shaping the impact of Artificial Intelligence. AI4People’s first year of activity in 2018 led to the “AI4People’s Ethical Framework for a Good AI Society: Opportunities, Risks, Principles, and Recommendations”, presented to the European Parliament in December 2018.
The organization has the following purposes:
-Promotion of research on artificial intelligence and its social impact;
-The creation of report to promote policy recommendations;
-the creation of a network of artificial intelligence experts from academia and industry;
-The relations with the policy makers in the EU and around the world.
