• Proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council to strengthen the application of the principle of equal pay for equal work or work of equal value between men and women through pay transparency and enforcement mechanisms
• Promotion of EC equality strategies (union of equality) such as Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021- 2030, EU Anti-racism Action Plan 2020-2025, LGBTIQ Equality Strategy 2020-2025, Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025

Info Members: Equinet has several working groups where specialised staff cooperates with peers and the Equinet secretariat, contributing to effective implementation of acquis and promotion of equality. The head of the APE is a member of the Equinet's board.
Acquis is promoted in the work on domestic level (including by promoting important EC initiatives to domestic authorities, such as developments of EU secondary legislation and when application of acquis is in question - i.e. equality impact assessments, recommendations of draft legislation, including but not exclusively in the harmonisation processes).
