Mission & Interests
Goals: Our aims are:
· To promote, facilitate and enhance the vital contributions of regional and national grassroots, community based and other civil society organizations, who work for the benefit of the people of the ACP states and regions.
· To work together with EU actors and organisations in accordance with article 5 of the ACP-EC Partnership Agreement, the Cotonou Agreement, in order to provide more information and create greater awareness of the ACP-EU Partnership, encourage partnership and build links between ACP and EU actors, strengthen networking and exchange of expertise and experience among the ACP-EU actors;

active involvement of ACP civil society as actors of the ACP-EU cooperation, programming and funding, to be provided with financial resources in order to support local development processes and be involved in the implementation of cooperation project and programmes in areas that concern them or where these act (...)

Caribbean and Pacific unit, on the Draft Rules of Procedure for the Joint Parliamentary Assembly and the three OACPS Regional Parliamentary Assemblies under the Post-Cotonou Agreement. Update on the signing of the OACPS EU Agreement.
Partipation in “The role of open trade in an increasingly uncertain world" civil society meeting in Prague, Czech Republic on Monday, 31 October 2022, meeting with Civil Society in the context of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
ACP Civil Society Forum was consulted by OECD who has been asked by the European Commission to support conceiving and developing a methodology and an instrument for structured stakeholder engagement in the EU-OACPS Partnership Post-Cotonou Agreement, participated in several meetings with OECD and gave feedback and comments on the OECD Draft Recommendations.
Participation second annual "ClimSA’22 Forum: Advancing Climate Services and Related Applications through Decision Support System Tools", the European Union-funded Intra-ACP Climate Services and Related Applications Programme (ClimSA)'22 Forum hosted by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme - SPREP in Apia, Samoa and the government of Samoa and SPREP, in a hybrid format, in Apia, Samoa, and virtually on 26, 27, 28 and 29 September 2022.

Participation 40th Plenary Session of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly JPA, 24 June 2021 remotely via SPINELLI 3E2, Brussels on the functioning of the ACP-EU JPA and the new Regional Parliamentary Assemblies established by the new OACPS-EU Agreement.
Contribution to the EU Survey Informal Consultation on the future Role of the JPA and Regional Assemblies in the ACP-EU Cooperation Post Cotonou Agreement on 19 November 2021.
Participation as Key speaker at the digital Launch of CONCORD Insider's Guide to the Post-Cotonou Agreement on 8 July 2021 with SLOGA, the Slovene National Platform for Non-Governmental Organisations for Development, Global Education and Humanitarian Aid, the EU Slovenia Presidency Project.
ACP Civil Society Forum participated at the ACP-EU JPA Women's Forum held virtually on Thursday 16 September 2021 from 13:00 to 15:00.
On 8 February 2022 participated at the European Commission Virtual stakeholder meeting on the establishment of a multilateral investment court.
Participation EU Trade Civil Society Dialogue Trade Meetings as DG Trade civil society organisation member.
Participation in ACP – EU policy meetings and keeping the members informed on relevant ACP-EU activities through the online network.
Communication on regional policies on trade, development and poverty alleviation from a civil society perspective capitalizing on civil society expertise, with ACP CSF providing inputs and facilitating sharing of expertise.

Three ACP Civil Society Forum meetings were organized in Brussels by the ACP Secretariat and the European Commission in 2001, 2006 and 2009.
