Main EU Legislative Proposals: Follow up of the environment legislation for compliance purposes (REACH...). Follow up of policy & legislation in areas such as consumer, energy & climate, healthcare, transportation & security (safety of people) as key business areas for 3M = Green Deal and to some extent Digital Agenda. Follow up of the EC Work Program as 3M is a strong supporter of the EU Single Market.

Info Members: In 2023, 5 employees were involved in the 3M engagement with EU institutions with a diverse level of engagement: one colleague following the green deal and environmental legislation (75%); one following the key business groups of 3M (energy, transportation, safety / PPE = 50% on the whole year as she left to the US DC office of 3M during since Q3); one 3M expert for personal safety division e.g. PPE for workers and hospitals (= 50% on average & on maternity leave since Q4); one leader for EMEA for GA and Sustainability (50%); one expert on transport safety division e.g. road safety (retired end Q2).
